Hello from New Orleans Airport

Well, we are sitting in the New Orleans Airport waiting for our plane to London to board.   I just wanted to let anyone that is interested know that we will keep up with the blog on this trip.  I assume wifi will be easier to come by in these Northern European countries, so we should not be able to use that as an excuse for long gaps in posts this time.

We brought two backpacks and one bag to check (for carrying our camping gear).  Jeanette talked me out of packing 10 pairs of socks; the compromise was 7.  We will see who had the better idea.

We also would like to give a big thank you to the Bonhagens who let us park in their driveway for the duration of our trip.  They even drove us to the airport.

I will add pictures the next time that I write, so talk to then and thanks for reading.

Jason

  1. Dear Jason and Jeanette, I am so glad you are doing this blog. i love hearing about your trip. Now on to the important question…….how many pairs of socks should you pack….I thought you were going to be gone for 3 weeks…. so 21 pairs should be packed (I always pack a few extra pairs just in case someone else doesn’t pack enough for themselves,so 24 should do it). Love,Mom

  2. Liz brought Ori over to my house on friday….it was a last minute decision…..sorry your friend was worried. Cody was so excited to see Ori. Ori is eating well too. I think she hears the other dogs crunching and she wants to get in on that action. Love again, Mom and dogs
