Having been so exhausted, we both wished we would have ridden the bus all the way to Houston.  I have no complaints with the megabus.

Uber from NO bus to airport $33

Flights from NO to Houston $132.20

Houston to Bangkok $783

So a total of $478.23 per person. Not too bad.
